In this report, LeanIn.Org and McKinsey & Company studied over 750 companies over the course of the last 6 years (2015-2021) to assess the role of women in the workplace and provide insights and tools to advance gender diversity in corporate America. The report found that women are rising as new leaders in companies and organizations, but are increasingly burned out, and women of color continue to face discrimination and unequal treatment at work.
