In this article, we see the interactions between the crass Linux creator Linus Torvalds and software developer Sarah Sharp. Sharp called for more respectful interactions in the Linux workplace. Torvalds defended himself, saying he despises being “subtle” or “nice” and that people need to respect his Finnish culture, which includes cursing.
