Philosophy: Thomas Aquinas

In this video, The School of Life discusses the philosophy of Thomas Aquinas, specifically his attempts to reconcile faith and reason. Aquinas recognized that some of the greatest minds in history were not Christian, but that this did not discount their insights. From this observation, Aquinas derived the distinction between natural (secular) law and eternal (religious) law. The video goes on to discuss the significant impact of this distinction.
