This article discusses the shock content website Rotten.com. Rotten.com is a database of horrifying images that gets around 200,000 visitors to the site per day. While some hope there are legal grounds for the website being taken down, protection of freedom of speech, as well as the fact that some of the images on the site can be found in museums or on the Discovery Channel, prevents the website from being taken down. While some ISP providers may not want to host Rotten.com there are other providers who are happy to because of their support of free speech.
