Violent memes and messages surging on far-left social media, a new report finds

This article describes how memes incited violence on left-wing social media in the summer of 2020 after the killing of George Floyd by a police officer. Although the majority of violence spread on social media is on the far right, this article shows that the left is not immune to the incitement of violence on social media and describes how memes played a role in this phenomenon.
