This article discusses the social media app Yik Yak. The article discusses how Yik Yak was founded on the principles of democratizing social media, taking away power from "influencers" and giving anyone the possibility of having their thoughts heard widely through anonymous posting. However, the anonymity on Yik Yak has made it such that it's a breeding ground for cyberbullying.
